What of this intense burning desire to liberate beyond the norms you’ve adopted, that you so onerously repress for a fragile sense of belonging?

What of the melodious spirit longing to sing through your being?

Abundance + Luminosity श्री Ś r ī

Happy Dīvāli
⁣
On this festive day, known as "the festival of lights", we light dīyas, little ghee lamps, or candles, eat sweets, gather in love and honor these fundamental principles of nature: Abundance + Luminosity.
⁣
Imagine the threshold of your physical and subtle home (your house, your body, your awareness) as the gateway of darkness and illumination. We effortlessly fill our homes with light as a welcoming and celebratory gesture of wisdom and its sister law of nature: prosperity. Wherever there is wisdom, there is supreme abundance.
⁣
Let the cosmic effulgence of Śrī fill your heart and home.

Aśvin (twin physicians of the Gods) Purnima or the Aśvinī Full Moon, is an auspicious time of year, said to be the only moon (we had 2 this month!) full of all its resplendent 16 shaktis AND 16 kalas, or arts.
⁣
H O W
Through its loving rays, this moon showers the elixir of life, the sweet nectar of divinity, or amrit, on earth bringing joy and prosperity to those whom intentionally absorb its radiance through moon bathing rituals and sadhana (spiritual practice).
